A Bit of Christmas Cheer

I am so happy December is finally here.
It scares me that this will be my first Christmas without my family.
I hope I don't spend it alone;
I don't like being alone on family holidays.
But then again I would prefer to be alone than with someone I don't want to spend the holidays with.

What a conundrum.
Hm...

Well either way;
I will have snow.
I will have Christmas trees.
...and lights!
....and food!
{mostly christmas cookies}
that, of course, includes gingerbread houses...
:) .
....and more snow!
AND MORE COOKIES!
Christmas cheer! Mistletoe kisses! Laughter! Calvin & Hobbes snowmen! Coatsandhatsandbootsandscarves! Gifts! Joy! Carols! Hot Chocolate! Baby Jesus!

And much more of course... I just get carried away with excitement.

:)

I really hope this month is a good one.
I'm praying very hard for this.
Fingers crossed!

Our house in NH on Christmas Eve; the moon bright above it.

My favorite room during Christmas; The Piano room. My mom let me set up the Christmas Village when I became old enough to not break anything.

My father; the King of Cheese. He always breaks them out for a tasting of cheeses, Salamis, Prosciutto and grape juices from Italy, after our huge annual Christmas Party,  for any of the guests who are smart enough to stay a little later.

My first Christmas in Zollikofen, Switzerland.
